GRANSHAN

This event is over.

Script connects, encourages commitment, enables dialogue: The GRANSHAN Talks & Ceremony bring together the type design and typography community at the University of Reading in person – and worldwide online.

Monday, 17 June
from 1:00 to 5:00 pm BST in Reading and on YouTube

Department of Typography & Graphic Communication at the University Reading, Earley Gate, RG6 6BZ

Selected talks — including Dr. Huda Smitshuizen Abifares, Golnar Katrahmani, Krista Radeova, Lloyd Zapanta, Aaron Amar and Nino Jishkariani — alternate with the announcements and short laudatory speeches on the winning works of the 13th GRANSHAN Type Design Competition 2023/2024.

The highlight of the award ceremony is the presentation of the GRANSHAN Grand Prize with a lecture by the winner. Finally, we are very much looking forward to announcing the recipient of the GRANSHAN Lifetime Honour Medal – awarded for the first time.
