PF Grecia (variable)

PF Venue is a large x-height set of 2 families with alternate letterforms, which manifest a unique texture when set in uppercase. The daring combination of non-uniform structures such as the normal narrow forms with the alternate wide forms exudes a striking eye-catching personality. Underlined by the avid necessity of the underground music scene for non conformity, expression, freedom of spirit, rule breaking and challenging preconceptions, this collection pays tribute to a rocker at heart!

PF Expo's design is nobly rooted in simple, rational, and absolutely functional Roman forms. Its serifs follow an artful logic of triangular symmetry, whilst at x-height, the slanted one-sided serifs blend effortlessly into the stems to foster a distinct identity with solid and provocative quality. In addition, the italic version alters dramatically the texture and rhythm with razor-sharp terminals that transform from dual-sided serifs to triangular upstrokes.

In recent years our attention has moved away from complicated letterform designs back onto shapely simple forms and PF Spekk is an answer to this ongoing visual trend. A geometric variable typeface tastefully revived from early 20th century archives, It encapsulates the sheer tension among squares, triangles, and circles at its core.Spekk’s merits include shortened capitals, consistent geometry in the entire set of styles, and intuitive italics.

In today's global market, brands need universal typefaces that ensure cohesive communication and perform across diverse environments. PF DIN Global, a variable typeface, meets this demand with a versatile range of weights and consistent tone. Supporting Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic, Hebrew, and Vietnamese, including italics, it empowers brands to connect with international audiences seamlessly.

PF Grand Gothik (variable)

What are the challenges and opportunities in designing multiscript fonts? How do you see multi script typography develop and used now and in the next decade?

Balancing the visual harmony of diverse scripts while preserving their cultural and linguistic identities is a challenging task for type designers. It requires a careful blend of historical authenticity and modern functionality, along with a deep understanding of each script's unique nuances.

With the global expansion of brands, the demand for multiscript fonts is growing rapidly. These fonts are vital for establishing consistent visual identities across languages and regions, ensuring seamless experiences on multilingual websites, e-commerce platforms, and global applications.

The future of multiscript typography is set for transformation. Advances in variable fonts, and AI will streamline the design process, allowing designers to focus on creativity and cultural nuances. By integrating these innovations with a commitment to cultural heritage, designers can craft fonts that drive authentic, inclusive, and forward-thinking global communication.
