Najla Badran holds a Ph.D. in Typography and Graphic Communication from the University of Reading. Her main topic is "Diacritics in the Arabic script and typography".
She has a Master in Type Design, University of Reading and passed with Merit. Afterwards she won a Scholarship: Monotype Award
In 2016: Najla published Razeen typeface in 365 Typo 2 by 365 Typo in association with ATypI.
