I am a visual artist and designer based in Cambodia, working across illustration, visual communication, and product-driven design. My practice begins with close observation of everyday life, translating familiar scenes, objects, and cultural details into thoughtful visual narratives that bridge contemporary design and local visual language.
My work is closely connected to typography, layout, and book design. I see type not only as a functional element, but as a visual structure that shapes rhythm, tone, and meaning. This interest informs my approach to printed matter and stationery, including Monday Mundane, a design-led stationery brand I founded to elevate everyday writing tools through careful typography, material choices, and hands-on production. Through this work, I explore how typographic systems influence use, attention, and emotional connection.
Alongside commercial and independent projects, I continue to develop personal and spatial works that engage with cultural identity, place, and daily rituals. I believe thoughtful visual communication can slow people down, encourage presence, and deepen appreciation for the ordinary.
