Remarks of the Jury
The biggest challenge that the Hanzi needs to face in terms of design is the huge number of character set and the difference in the number of strokes. One that takes designers a long time to get out of a project, and the other is the typography colour and optical size of Hanzi in family. hollow-Negro is a work with some early missionary font in Songti. I'm very interested in the style, but it's bold not a good.
Description of the Typeface by the Submitter
Since the variable font was announced, there are already more than 30 sets of Chinese variable fonts in the market but most of them are Gothic style. I was aiming to design a neutral, calm and plain Mincho typeface at the beginning. During the process of design, I realised there may be slight changes in feeling while adjusting the strokes. The typeface is designed with considerations of the feeling between soft and gentle to hard and strong by changing weight. The title of the typeface in Chinese means extremes, aiming to bring out two extreme feelings within one typeface.
