Spanish Pavillion in Dubai
The Barcelona-based multidisciplinary studio OnionLab collaborated with External Reference to create the exhibition journey at the Spanish Spain Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020, coordinated by Acción Cultural Española (AC/E).Adelle Sans Latin and Arabic bring the content to life on all exhibition panels and interactive screens.

Acting Together
This magazine is the result of a very special field trip to Armenia as part of the reconciliation project ‘Acting Together’ between Armenia and Turkey in memory of the Armenian genocide of 1915, an event that as of yet has not been recognised by Turkey.

TypeTogether was commissioned to create a multiscript customised update of vivo Type, adding Arabic, Cyrillic, and Greek to the Latin alphabet.

TYPETOGETHER: An organic, low-contrast Devanagari font family that is flexible and personable in all text environments.
The original Adelle Sans font family, José Scaglione and Veronika Burian’s award-winning sans serif, provides a more clean and spirited take on the traditional grotesque sans. In 2013 Veronika and José began a Devanagari project during a concentrated course at the University of Reading (UK). Erin McLaughlin and Vaibhav Singh continued consultancy and design a few years later, and the Adelle Sans Devanagari family came into its own when Pooja Saxena joined TypeTogether in 2017. In all, this family is the culmination of five years of sweating the details.
